This summer we are hoping to grow Mammoth Sunflowers. We started the seeds inside and moved them outdoors into a pot last week. We are planning a sunflower escapade in a nearby meadow. We hope to secretly slip in a few seedlings between the cat tails.

Good early morning from Seattle, Margie. I sit here at 3:24 a.m. with a purring cat in my lap and a cup of coffee at my elbow. Love your sunflowers. Thinking of and praying for you and John and your family daily. I'm glad the Illinois snows are over. Long live spring, sun, warmth, flowers of all kind, especially the mammoth sunflowers.
