We celebrated John's 46th birthday on Sunday. As I sang Happy Birthday, I added the old phrase And Many More... and really meant it!!
How is John doing? Remarkably well. He has aches and pains, fatigue and other such difficulties, but he is doing great. He works all day, sleeps all night and fits in a few laughs around the edges. Earlier in the week he was making up a poem about his socks to get the day going ... on the right foot.
John's folks will leave for Brazil on Monday and we will miss them. Their visit has been a wonderful boost to us.
