Isaiah 58: 11

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs
in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your bones.
You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose
waters never fail.

Wrap it Up! Preparing for Christmas

We have been showered with blessings in many ways. My girlfriend Cheri lives in the Minneapolis area. She blessed us from afar by coming up with a great idea to help us prepare for Christmas. Her idea was to enlist friends to do my Christmas shopping. A few weeks ago I took my Christmas list over to my friend Sally's house and she solicited "Elves" to do my Christmas shopping. All I did was sit back and sip eggnog as beautifully wrapped gifts appeared at my front door.

I also had loads of gifts in my closet that needed to be wrapped. My friend Lisa opened her beautiful home for a gift wrapping party. She served hot pizza dip with chips, brownies, steaming cups of coffee with cinnamon sticks and whipped cream. She taught us how to make big puffy bows and blessed each of us by welcoming us into her lovely home. Several of my girlfriends came to help wrap my gifts and enjoy an evening of telling stories and laughing our heads off.

Thank you elves. Thank you wrappers.

I had better go to bed. Several teenagers from the youth group are coming to clean our house in the morning!

Margie,

May the Lord wrap you and yours in his Love this Christmas. And may He add bows of Grace, Mercy and Peace as adornment.

As usual, loving you sooooo much,

Sal (for The Millers)
